NASA is looking for healthy individuals that will be compensate by just lying in bed. A whopping amount of $18,000 in the entire duration of 70 days.
As stated in the Forbes report, “… you could get paid a total of around $18,000 for lying in bed, playing games on your phone, reading books, skyping with your friends and family, taking online classes – and even go on with your day job if you can get away with working remotely, so long as you don’t get out of bed for that entire duration.”
According to Johnson Space Center, they is conducting a Space Flight Simulation Study for ground-based research.
The Flight Analogs Project Team at the Johnson Space Center is conducting a series of studies that support the scientific needs of the space program. These studies develop methods to keep astronauts healthier and safer when they spend a long time in space without gravity. NASA calls these methods “countermeasures” and uses them to minimize the changes that occur to the body during space flight and enable the return of normal body functions once back on Earth. Healthy test subjects are needed for these studies!
